Seven coronavirus suspects missing in Punjab

Medical officials in the state had received a list of over 450 people who recently returned to India, and have been tracking down people on the list in a bid to ascertain infections, if any.

Seven people, suspected of having the coronavirus, have reportedly gone missing in Punjab.

Medical officials in the state had recieved a list of over 450 people who recently returned to India, and have been tracking down people on the list in a bid to ascertain infections, if any.

Once the Chief Medical Officer could not find seven people on the list, the authorities were informed.

However, Punjab Police were unable to find the seven people in question in the last few days leading to them being marked as missing.

According to reports, the police in Ludhiana found the homes of the seven people locked.

Punjab has so far had only one positive case of the virus, in Amritsar.
