New Delhi: The Vishva Hindu Parishad (VHP) will felicitate the entire legal team that fought the Ayodhya case for the Hindu side in courts, including 92-year-old Supreme Court lawyer K. Parasaran, in Karsevakpuram in Ayodhya on November 23.

This will be an acknowledgement of the “untiring efforts” of the lawyers in the case, VHP vice-president Champat Rai told ET.

Rashtriya Swayamsevak Sangh’s two top leaders, Mohan Bhagwat and Suresh Bhaiyyaji Joshi, had visited Parasaran at his residence soon after the verdict on November 9.

“We have invited the entire legal team led by K. Parasaran. Most of the people have confirmed they will come,” Rai told ET.

The VHP has also invited lawyers who fought the case in the high court and lower court.

On November 23, BJP leader Subramanian Swamy will visit Ayodhya, where those invited by the VHP include former solicitor general Mohan Parasaran, BJP leader and lawyer Bhupender Yadav, additional solicitor general Vikramjeet Bannerjee and senior advocates CS Vaidyanathan, Ranjit Kumar and PS Narsimha.
