NEW DELHI: Indian flyers holding any kind of valid visa under the 'Air Bubbles' agreement can travel to the UK, the US, Canada and UAE, said the Director-General of Directorate General of Civil Aviation (DGCA) India.

"Under bubble agreement any Indian holding any kind of valid visa can travel to Canada, UK, US and UAE," said DGCA India in a statement.

According to the earlier guidelines issued by the European Union amid the COVID-19 pandemic, only those holding essential visa were allowed for travel abroad.

Recently, Minister of Civil Aviation Hardeep Puri had confirmed that more air bubbles with other countries are in the pipeline.

Meanwhile, India has not allowed entry of all type of visa holders into the country except for those holding essential visa approved by the Ministry of Home Affairs.

    IS it true?
My dependent was not allowed to travel to Canada as I am on work permit. British Airways informed that only non-Indian passport holder can travel from India-London-Canada. All Indian passport holder should travel from DELHI-Canada on Non-Stop flight. Above mentioned news seem to be void. My family members has seen a lot of individuals returning back due to lack of information shared by DGCA.

I want to travel from Mumbai to Berlin to meet my girlfriend (Short-term visits for long-distance relationship partners) in September. German Embassy in Mumbai has already given me a special appointment to apply for Visa. Now they are going to provide me Schengen Visa (Type C Visa) and they said I have to carry a few other documents with my visa while traveling
I just wanted to know will I be allowed to Travel with current airlines operating with (Type C) Visa from India? ( Cause all Airlines are only accepting passenger with Type D Visa, Long term Visas)

We were not allowed to check in at the airport for Lufthasa flight LH757, leaving at 0250 from Mumbai airport for Frankfurt on 16/08/2020. We were to reunite with our 3 son's (Family), a Canadian citizen, PR card holder. I showed them all the valid and latest directives and rules and regulations in print.
The Lufthansa personnel were adamant and unduly rude to us senior citizens. They said they did not have permission from the Indian Govt. to allow us to fly on a visitors visa.
One should explain us that one family wants to re-unite with other so how it is possible that they all will have citizenship, PR status of course they must have visitor visa, Now govt says all type of visa holder can travel that's okay.
Now I want to know that in air bubbles Germany has been excluded in the list and we have to fly in transit with Frankfurt, will Lufthansa Mumbai will allow us to check in and allow us to board the flight. We have reconfirmed tkt on 2nd of September same flight.
Please help and reply the same
    Thanks and Regards
