BharatPe makes key hires from PayTM, Reckitt and ICICI

New Delhi: BharatPe, a merchant fintech company, has announced the appointment of three key personnel in the Business, Finance, and Operations areas.

Subhasis Beura, ex-Reckitt executive, has been appointed as Chief Business Officer - Brands & Commerce, Nishit Sharma, ex-ICICI, is the new Chief Business Officer - Growth, while Nishant Saluja, ex-Paytm, has joined as Vice President of Lending & Consumer Operations.

Speaking on the appointments, Ashneer Grover, Co-founder of BharatPe, said, in a statement, “We are delighted to welcome Subhasis, Nishit & Nishant to team BharatPe. As we continue to ease and grow business for small merchants in India, they will provide the thought leadership & strategy for our growth. Together, we shall strive to create the largest merchant lending network for small shopkeepers in India.”

Subhasis Beura is a brand professional with more than 14 years of experience in managing Global and national FMCG, Automotive and Financial brands.

Nishant Saluja has 18 years of experience in building and growing brands and comes with a deep knowledge of consumer insights and Lending, while Nishit Sharma comes with 13 years of experience in fundraising, private equity investment management, investment banking, and entrepreneurship.
