Party planners Evibe collects angel round from Hyderabad Angels

HYDERABAD: Online marketplace for party and event services Evibe has raised an angel round of around Rs 72 lakh (less than USD 110,000) led by Hyderabad Angels. Other investors in the round include co-founders of Commonfloor Lalit Mangal and Vikas Malpani as well as VP Engineering at Flipkart, Gaurav Bhalotia.

The Bengaluru-based startup which provides end-to-end services for children’s parties plans on expanding into a full-fledged portal for event planning and booking.

“Over the next six months we would like to go deeper into the Bangalore market. So far we have processed 1500-plus orders. We plan on extending our services to vendors through ERP and financial statement management,” said Anjaneyulu Reddy, founder and CEO of Evibe.

The startup founded in February 2014 was mentored by TiE Bangalore and works on a commission per transaction model with the service providers on its platform.
