Tech launches: Acer Liquid Mini E310, LG Cinema 3D Smart TV Range, BlackBerry Style 9670

The Liquid Mini is the little kid in the liquid smartphones series from Acer. It carries the same look and feel as the larger Acer Liquid Metal. It has a 3.2-inch capacitive touch-screen with multi-touch and accelerometer for auto rotate. It runs on a 600Mhz processor, Adreno 200GPU with 512MB RAM and has expandable storage up to 32GB. The Mini comes with Android OS 2.2 with Acer’s custom breeze UI on top. Weighing just 109g, the phone has 3G, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth connectivity, GPS, Stereo FM as well as Facebook/Twitter integration. Despite the size, it features a 5MP fixed focus camera that records videos in 720 x 480-pixel resolution at 30 FPS.


LG Cinema 3D Smart TV Range

The LG Cinema 3D TV Range comes in two series LW6500 & LW5700. The LW6500 is available in 42 &47 inches whereas the LW5700 comes in 42, 47 and 55 inches. The new series comes with a technology called Film Patterned Retarder (FPR) that optimizes images for the left and right eye to provide better 3D output. It has LG's 3D light boost technology that ensures 3D images are shown at full brightness and also features LG's Smart TV technology. The new range has features such as 2D to 3D conversion, wide viewing angles, LED plus and Micro Pixel Control for optimum output. Moreover, LG includes 4 pair of 3D glasses with each TV and has priced extra pair of glasses from `1,000 onwards.


BlackBerry Style 9670
Price: Rs 24,990

The BlackBerry Style 9670 adds a style quotient to the otherwise bland BlackBerry phones. The phone features a flip design with a 2.7-inch internal display and a 2-inch external display. It has 512MB internal memory expandable to 16GB and features a full a QWERTY keyboard in the slim design with an optical track-pad for navigation. It is a CDMA phone with EVDO, Wi-Fi and Bluetooth connectivity as well as GPS with A-GPS support. It runs on Blackberry OS 6 with a new browser and richer social network integration. The phone has a 5MP AF camera with LED flash and image stabilization that records videos in VGA resolution.
