Synopsis

Last month, IBM committed to increase investments in India, after Krishna — who was appointed in April — held discussions with Prime Minister Narendra Modi over a video conference call.

New Delhi | Bengaluru: IBM is expanding its leadership team in India to focus more on Global CEO Arvind Krishna's Cloud-first strategy, as the US-based technology major seeks to leverage its relationship with enterprise as well as government customers in a bid to take on rivals Amazon Web Services (AWS), Microsoft Azure and Google Cloud in the country.Sandip Patel, who took over as India MD of IBM earlier this year, told ET that it sees clients
