Sasken appoints Gajendra Singh Chowhan as SVP and Head, Business Lines

Sasken is a listed company and had more than 1800 employees at the end of March 2019.

BENGALURU: Bengaluru-based Sasken Technologies has appointed Gajendra Singh Chowhan as senior vice-president and head (business lines), said the company in a press release today.

Sasken Technologies is a product engineering and digital transformation solutions provider and Chowhan is expected to further the company’s effforts in its automotive, industrial, semiconductor and communication and devices segments, said the company. Chowhan previously woeked at Aricent.

Hari Haran, president (global sales, marketing and business lines) at Sasken said about the appointment in the release, “We have made a considered decision to streamline and simplify our organizational structure to enhance its agility and align it with our planned revenue growth. Therefore, we have decided to consolidate all the business lines in our product engineering services under one business head. To that end, we are fortunate that a seasoned veteran who has been a champion in identifying and winning large business deals has joined us.”

The company in its release said Chowhan would focus on “strategic and large deals to bring long term stickiness with customers.” He is also expect to “help cross-leverage offerings across business lines to focus on providing solutions to customers’ problems”.

Speaking about his appointment, Chowhan said in the release, “I have been following Sasken’s story for many years now and truly admire their strengths in product engineering and digital across the verticals they serve. I see great potential in Sasken’s growth and I am excited to join an organization where I growth at Sasken and taking it to greater heights.”
