    CPI(M) general secretary Sitaram Yechury on Wednesday slammed the government over the hike in train fares and the increase in cost of LPG cylinders.

    The veteran leader, who replaced S Sudhakar Reddy, said the party's fight against "retrograde" forces would continue.

    Yechury charged that government's policies have burdened the poor.
