Naval leg of Indo-Russian tri-service exercise starts in Goa
A release by the Indian Navy said its ships Tarkash and Aditya, and Russian Federation Navy's Yaroslav Mudriy, Viktor Konetsky and Elnya are participating in the exercise off Goa coast. The ships will undergo `Harbour Phase' of the exercise till December 15. It will include deployment planning, cross visits, professional lectures and sports fixtures.

Navy Mig-29 trainer jet crashes in Goa, pilots safe
In a statement, Ministry of Defence Spokerperson has said: "During a training mission, after take off from INS HANSA at Dabolim a Mig 29k trainer aircraft suffered an engine fire. The pilots Capt M Sheokhand and Lt Cdr Deepak Yadav ejected safely. A bird hit and fire on the right engine was observed."
