    According to IIT-Guwahati these new ways of producing energy can be employed in household environments to support the concept of decentralization of energy sources. In the centralized energy generation model, one large plant produces energy for an entire region, in contrast, the decentralized energy model introduces a large number of small generation devices.

    In the pre-disruption era, there were broadly two categories of skills required by industry — a band of specialized industry or domain knowledge, and a wide range of more traditional skills suited to a generalist work profile. This scenario has changed irrevocably. As per a WEF report, generalists have shrunk in demand and this trend will continue.
