    A railway official told PTI that a train chugged between Baramulla and Srinagar this morning.     Lieutenant Governor Girish Chander Murmu said that vandals' act to set ablaze a sufi shrine in Tral is designed to arouse passion among the people and hurt their sentiments but they will not be tolerated, an official spokesperson said.

    “I was concerned about the health of my mother, but nobody was listening. The hut she was kept in had cracked windows and there was no adequate heating arrangement,” Iltija Mufti, daughter of Mehbooba Mufti, told ET. PDP chief Mehbooba Mufti along with former CMs Farooq Abdullah and Omar Abdullah, has been in detention since August 5.

    "International community has to assist India in eradicating radical Islamist terror that is when the human rights situation will be possible," Sunanda Vashisht said. Plebiscite in Kashmir is never going to happen. A plebiscite requires the community to unite for a decision, but in this case, a part of Kashmir is in India, another in Pak, a part of it is also held with China, she said.

    The security and railway officials will be present during the trial run. "No mischievous element can stop this trial run. Keeping security arrangements in mind, the exact route of train between Banihal and Baramulla section has been not disclosed. So that everything goes smoothly," the Railways officials said.
