Lockdown in Gujarat extended to the entire state
Gujarat DG of Police Shivanand Jha told the media late on Monday night that the lockdown of the state will come into force from Monday 12.00 midnight and wil be applicable through out the state. It may be mentioned here that earlier the municipal areas of Ahmedabad, Gandhinagar, Vadodara, Surat, Rajkot and Kutch district was put under lockdown.

The Centre is likely to expand its testing strategy for Covid-19 to allow use of rapid antibody tests in symptomatic cases in 'hotspot' areas though these results will need to be confirmed by an RT-PCR test using throat or nasal swab to detect the presence of genetic material of the coronavirus.

Coronavirus India: Health ministry asks states to form rapid response teams to stop community transmission
