Ratan Naval Tata is Chairman Emeritus of Tata Sons. He was Chairman of Tata Sons for around two decades (1991-2012) before renouncing the position to Mr. Cyrus Pallonji Mistry. The tea to steel conglomerate became a global enterprise marking significant milestones under his leadership and vision - from acquiring international brands such as Jaguar, Land Rover, Corus and Tetley, to giving India world's cheapest car. After retiring from Tata Group, Mr. Tata, a known philanthropist and angel investor, continues to be associated with various charitable trusts of Tata Group.
