Lokpal to move out of Rs 50 lakh per month rented five-star accommodation to permanent address
A senior Personnel Ministry official said the Lokpal is likely to move out of its five star hotel temporary office at The Ashok Hotel in Chanakyapuri by this month. "Total monthly rent is around Rs 50 lakh and Rs 3,85,09,354 has been paid from March 22, 2019 to October 31, 2019 for rent," the Lokpal of India said in response to an RTI application.

Migrant labourer killed in Srinagar grenade attack
At least 13 people were injured in the grenade attack, the second in less than a month, and were rushed to the nearby SMHS hospital where the condition of two is critical, officials said. The attack took place at 1.20 pm, a time the Hari Singh High Street market was crowded with people and roadside vendors. Security forces have cordoned off the area.

Last month, Union Home Minister Amit Shah had directed the CAPFs to undertake a mega manpower planning and ensure that around seven lakh jawans get to spend at least 100 days with their families in a year. Shah was given a presentation in September about the functioning of the CAPFs in the ministry, following which he gave certain directions regarding the same.
