Shriram Transport’s latest NCD issue was rated AA+, an investment grade level one notch below the highest AAA. While retail investors put in Rs 179 crore, HNIs put in Rs 30 crore. These NCDs offered interest rates between 8.5 per cent and 9.1 per cent depending on their tenures. Earlier in January, the Rs 2,000-crore NCD issue of Tata Capital Housing Finance was lapped up by investors.
