Ministry of Home Affairs sanctions 2,000 posts in Central Industrial Security Force
The Central Industrial Security Force guards about 60 civil airports in the country and has an elite VVIP security wing under its command called the Special Security Group (SSG). The Union Home ministry has recently given approval for the creation of about 2,000 posts in the CISF, a senior official said on Tuesday.

1778 dal mills to import 2.50 lakh tonnes of urad from Myanmar by March 31
Earlier, the government had allowed import of 1.50 lakh tonnes, which was increased by another 2.50 lakh tonnes on December 19, 20119. The government has kept import of pulses open for only dal millers, who are the actual users of unprocessed pulses. The mills were asked to apply with the quantity they wanted to import till December 30.
2 convicted for raping 5-year-old girl in Delhi in 2013
Manoj Shah and Pradeep Kumar had raped the girl at Gandhi Nagar area. They had fled after committing the crime and leaving the girl at Shah's room after believing her to be dead. The child was rescued 40 hours later on April 17, 2013. They were arrested by Delhi police separately from Muzaffarpur and Darbhanga in Bihar respectively in 2013.

Brokerages find TCS valuations expensive post Q3 results; stock falls 2%
Kotak Institutional Equities maintained ‘Reduce’ rating on TCS with a fair value of Rs 2020. However, it said that TCS is a must have in the portfolio at the right valuation. Edelweiss Securities maintained ‘Hold’ rating on the stock with a target price of Rs 2,175. “The stock’s expensive valuation (22.9x FY21E EPS) compels us to retain ‘Hold’,” the brokerage house said.
