Airtel to roll out VoWiFi this month
The VoWiFi technology allows users to connect to a public WiFi hotspot or any standard private home WiFi network and make outgoing calls to any mobile phone number and landline, across operators, using handsets which support the technology. It is designed to plug indoor network gaps as operators continue to find it challenging to get site approvals in residential areas.

On May 20, WhatsApp reported an incident to country's cyber security watchdog Cert-In, stating that it had identified and promptly fixed a vulnerability that could enable an attacker to insert and execute code on mobile devices. WhatsApp also told CERT-In that the vulnerability could no longer be exploited to carry out attacks.

WhatsApp reports India revenues of Rs 6.84 crore for the first time for FY19
Documents filed with the Registrar of Companies (RoC) show WhatsApp, which is currently awaiting approvals from regulatory authorities for its payments service, reported revenues of Rs 6.84 crore for fiscal 2019 and a profit of Rs 57 lakh for the financial year under review.
