The properties of all those involved in this scam will be confiscated and every single paisa of each and every employee will be returned," Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath said. A laggard Uttar Pradesh, the most populous state of the country, has been advised “to raise the game” in the implementation of the Ayushman Bharat Yojana and treble the number of daily treatments under the scheme at present.

The chief minister has invited Prime Minister Narendra Modi to lay the foundation stone of two of these projects — the Bundelkhand Expressway this month and the Jewar International Airport in January. According to an Uttar Pradesh government release, the security review by the Chief Minister is in the wake of the verdict delivered by the Supreme Court in Ayodhya case on November 9. The security measures will remain in place till December 15.

The verdict, in favour of building a Ram temple, strengthens the political position of Adityanath ahead of the 2022 state elections, especially as no report of violence was reported across UP on Saturday when this paper went to print. He and his guru, Mahant Avaidyanath, have been champions of the Ram temple movement.

After the apex court's verdict on claering way for Ram mandir at the site in Ayodhya, UP Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath plans to deliver several projects revolving around Ram Lalla's birth place including an ‘Eye Theme Park’, Shabri garden, Ashok Vatika and international museum by 2023.

UP has the largest number of beneficiaries among all states under the scheme. Out of the 79.7 million beneficiaries across the country, almost 18 million are in UP alone.

UP CM Yogi Adityanath has directed a forensic team to urgently inspect the site where the fire broke out. Late Monday, a fire broke out at the head office of UP home guard, destroying muster rolls containing details of attendance records of the personnel. The chief secretary and the director general of home guard department were asked to submit report.
