The Ramalaya Nyas is headed by Swami Swaroopanand Saraswati and Swami Avimukteshwaranand is its secretary. It said in the letter that it was formed in 1994 after the enactment of the Ayodhya Act, 1993, which stipulated that a trust be formed in the future for the construction of the temple. Since the VHP’s Ram Janmabhoomi Nyas was formed in 1985.
