    A by-product of the India Against Corruption campaign of 2011-12, AAP came into existence in November 2012 and won 28 seats in the Delhi assembly in 2013 to form a minority government with Congress supporting it from outside. Since assuming power in Delhi in 2015, AAP made efforts to expand elsewhere, but except in Punjab, AAP garnered less votes than NOTA.

The Congress is predicted to get three seats in the Delhi assembly elections. The projection range for the BJP, which is going all out to come back to power in Delhi after nearly two decades, is between three and 13 seats.

    "The whole country knows who is capable of causing riots," Kejriwal said, and appealed to the people of Delhi to defeat such forces and maintain peace.
