  • A forensic analysis by technical experts retained by Bezos after a leak of his personal information in early 2019 suggested that the Bezos iPhone was compromised by "tools" procured by a close associate of the Saudi de facto ruler.

    United Nations experts on Wednesday called for an "immediate investigation" by the United States and others into information they received that suggests that Jeff Bezos' phone was hacked after receiving a file sent from Saudi Crown Prince Mohammed bin Salman's WhatsApp account.

    The Cupertino, California-based company is expected to officially unveil the new phone as early as March.

    The encrypted message from the number used by the crown prince is believed to have included a malicious file that infiltrated the phone Bezos had used and extracted large amounts of data within hours, the Guardian reported.

    iQOO is a sub-brand of Vivo in China but will operate in India as a separate entity. The two operators' decision to await the SC’s call on AGR modification pleas, imply that they won’t make any payments to the government by the January 23 deadline.
