Reos Lite: Price Rs 1,699
Use Reos Lite and you can make the switch to LED and wireless app-control in one go! Just install the bulb (it has a screw-type mount, but a bayonet adapter is included) and get the app. Your phone connects to it over Bluetooth and you can do things like switch between different colours, adjust brightness, and set a schedule or timer. Multiple bulbs can be controlled using the same app

Oakter: Price From Rs 4,750
With Oakter, you can get the basic or smart kit and keep expanding. The main hub connects to your Wi-Fi router and controls the leaf—a smart plug that can be switched on and off using the app. As it comes pre-configured, you can just get the app and sign in. It lets you control lights, fans, water heaters, air conditioners, etc. from anywhere. You can also set schedules and share control with family members.

Godrej Eagle I-Smart: Price From Rs 4,499
A home security system can alert you to the presence of an intruder in the house. Godrej has a DIY solution: plug the main unit into a wall socket while the peripherals remain wireless and battery powered. Options include a motion sensor, door/window sensor, smoke detector and glass break sensor. Up to 40 sensors can be used with each main unit. For app control, you can try the Eagle-i Pro, which sends an alert to your phone when you’re not at home.

Wireless Surveillance Camera: Price Rs 3,499
Cameras are ubiquitous in public locations but there are advantages to getting a couple of these for your home. Once you connect them to your home Wi-Fi and get the app, you can view a live feed remotely on your phone. The app will also let you hear what’s going on, do a two-way voice chat and pan or tilt the cameras. Some also have a microSD slot to record video and motion detection (to autostart recording).

MI Air Purifier 2: Price Rs 9,999
When it come to air purifiers, numerous options are available, but only a couple are ‘smart’, and this is the only one that is both smart and affordable. It looks great, takes up very little space and uses a unique cylindrical filter for maximum efficiency. Since it has Wi-Fi, it can be remotely controlled through the app, which also shows PM2.5 levels and notifies you when it’s time to change the air filter.

Noke Locks: Price Rs 5,199
This is the lock of the future—it has no key and no combination. It's quite useful if you’re always losing your keys. It has a coin battery (1-year battery life), Bluetooth and connects to an app on your authenticated device. Tap a button and it will unlock! If your phone runs out of battery, you can unlock it using a secret code—a combination of short and long presses on the shackle— much like Morse code.
